Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor’s first film together has struck a gold at the box office. The dance film directed Remo D’Souza has certainly managed to impress the audience big time or else how would explain the its box office collection which after four days stands at Rs 54.40 crore. The film co-starring Prabhu Dheva hit the screens on Friday and recorded the highest opening collection of this year. That’s not all! ABCD 2 also recorded the highest opening weekend collection too. The film has been performing extremely well in the week days too and after passing the Monday test, the film performed equally good on Tuesday. It collected 6.77 crores on its fifth day, thus taking its total to 61.17 crores approx at the domestic box office. The dance film is high on word of mouth and also being a family watch, it has been receiving good footfalls at the multiplexes. ABCD 2′s music too has been quite popular and since Dance India Dance too was a popular show on Television, the dancers in the film have a huge fan following.

The film collected amount Rs 5.45 crores* on its first Wednesday which is a smashing performance for any film on a week day. The Varun Dhawan starrer now stands with a collection of 66.62 crore* in six days which is huge. Audience loved the movie, Director Remo, Varun and Shraddha specially tweeted to thank audience for such lovely response. Along with them, movie is featuring very famous Indian MJ Prabhudheva, Raghav Juyal, Dharmesh Yelande, Lauren Gottlieb etc. All performed so well in their characters, their hard work is resulting in such awesome box office performance. Such steady and outstanding performance of the movie is increasing the expectations of everyone.
