The movie has incurres an estimated Rs 10 crore loss due to this. Anyhow, After a good first weekend, “Uthama Villain” remained steady on its 4th Day and minted about Rs.1.50 crores approx at the domestic box office combining both states collection (Chennai & AP/T). Now this is the good collections and it is a heartening sign to see audience stepping into theaters all over again. What is all the more remarkable is to see the wide disconnect between a bunch of self-esteemed critics, who don’t seem to enjoy Tollywood forever, and the ‘aam junta’ who want their dose of entertainment. Kamal Haasan’s brilliant acting, family-oriented story with the flawless technical aspects of the movie are the highlights of “Uttama Villain”. Apart from Kamal, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, and Nasser can be seen in important roles.
