Tanu Weds Manu Returns 9th Day Box Office Collection
The worldwide collection of “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” has already crossed Rs 100 crore, according to latest reports. The details of the collections were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh through his Twitter page. According to him, “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” is unaffected by any new release and has collected a total of Rs 101.67 crore till now at the worldwide box office. The second week collection of the movie has started on a good note as the Kangana starrer has earned Rs 6.65 crore on the second Friday, making the total collection of the movie in India reach Rs 76.67 crore. With this, the Kangana starrer has beaten Deepika Padukone’s “Piku” and has placed itself in the third position in the list of highest collecting Bollywood movies of 2015 in India. The first and second positions are occupied by Akshay Kumar’s “Baby” and “Gabbar is Back”, which has made business of Rs 95.50 crore and Rs 86 crore.
The movie, as per early estimates, has managed rake in almost 6.65 crores on its 2nd Friday and 2nd Saturday collection was Rs 9.40 Crore nett at the Domestic Box Office. Tanu Weds Manu Returns now stands at a nett India total of 85.07 crores at the Box Office. The movie has now beaten the collections of Deepika Padukone starrer Piku, which stood on 3rd Place, with 75 crores total, at Top 10 Highest Grossing Films of 2015. Movie has been able to break the records of one week total collection of all movies by this year & named some good records to its side. With the end of its 9th working day, TWMR registered decent increase in occupancy and overall income from not only domestic country but overseas screens also contributed nice part of the figures.
