Piku 11th Day Box Office Collection
The mega hit of 2015, ‘Piku’ has been appreciated by all and sundry. Amitabh Bahchcan , Deepika Padukone and Irfan Khan starrer movie has collected over Rs 56.02 crores at the Box Office since its release. According to a senior trade analyst, the movie has been a smashing hit overseas too with a collection of 4.3 million dollars. Big B, who is basking in the glory of the success is overwhelmed with the love and response from the innumerable fans. The Shoojit Sircar movie, which released on May 8, 2015 is doing exceptionally well at the big screens. Shoojit Sircar has given the first biggest opener of 2015 at the overseas box office. “Piku” has registered the highest overseas collection and is now nearing the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. “Piku” second Sunday collection is better than “Bombay Velvet” third day box office collection. “Piku” minted Rs 6.40 crore, while “Bombay” fared in Rs 5.80 crore.
Piku 2nd Monday Box Office Business
The overseas box office collection of Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan starrer “Piku” after second weekend stands at $4.3 million (Rs 27.43 crore), which is the highest of 2015. Anyhow, on its 4th day box office income is around Rs 2.60 Crore approx. “Piku”, featuring Deepika and Amitabh as the father-daughter Jodi and Irrfan who runs a cab service, opened to rave reviews and has been going rock steady at the box office since second day. The film was released in just 1300 screens in India and with a minimum number of screen count the film has done wonders at the box office. Despite running in its second week, the film had a strong second weekend of Rs 14.60 crore, which is better than Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s “Bombay Velvet” opening weekend collection.
