Gabbar Is Back 4th Day Box Office Collection
The box office is proving bountiful for Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar Is Back which released last Friday. Weekend collections indicate that Bollywood’s period of drought may have finally ended with the film already having made in three days more than what movies like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! earned in three weeks. Gabbar Is Back is also the highest opener of 2015, the first quarter of which ended with the box office honours going to Hollywood films Furious 7 and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Anyhow, Akshay Kumar’s “Gabbar Is Back” has shattered the opening weekend box office record of his own film “Baby” at domestic collection centres. After recording the highest opening day collection, “Gabbar Is Back” has now taken the lead with its opening weekend collection. With Rs 39.41 crore income, the masala entertainer has recorded the highest debut weekend total at the box office in 2015.
Gabbar Is Back Monday Box Office Business
The box office collection of “Gabbar Is Back” showed tremendous growth on the third day due to word of mouth. After having a good opening, the collection dropped on second day, but it showed good jump on Sunday, accumulating good numbers in the first three days. Today is weekdays, a working day, this will affect the earning of “Gabbar Is Back” at box office, which has lowered down to Rs 6.75 Crore on its 4th day. The collection of “Gabbar Is Back” was expected to drop, especially in south, after the release of Kamal Haasan’s movie, but it maintained a strong hold. The film, which has been released in over 3200 screens in India, is a solo release and will dominate the box office during weekdays. Akshay Kumar stars as a vigilante named Gabbar in the Krish-directed film. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead with Kareena Kapoor making a special appearance.
