Gabbar Is Back 1st Day Box Office Performance
Akshay Kumar starrer Gabbar Is Back is expected to give Bollywood the much-needed push in the business that has been lost in the last quarter. The film being a massy commercial film releasing on a holiday has great chances to emerge as the biggest opener of the year so far. The morning shows have recorded a good occupancy for Gabbar Is Back so far. Mumbai has opened to a occupancy of 50% which is decently good where as Pune has opened best for the morning shows with an occupancy of 90%. Mass circuits of Delhi, Gurgaon and Lucknow have taken a slow start with a occupancy of 25-30%. Since this is a holiday release and to top it all it stars Akshay Kumar, the film is epxected to make a record breaking collections over the long weekend.

Gabbar Is Back Opening Day Box Office Business
We have always seen that overseas markets have also many viewers for Indian movies and there are many fans followers of Indian superstars in international places. Especially USA and UAE are known for showing Indian films at a good number of screens on overseas screens. Film has released today on May 1, 2015 on all the places in India as well in other countries. “Gabbar Is Back is had a very good start at some places and was decent in other places. Overall the opening was good at around 40-45 %. It is the best opening for a Hindi film this year but that is not saying much as hardly any films have opened. The occupancies are less than Fast & Furious 7 and The Avengers – Age Of Ultron but has more screens than those films.” Overall first day collection of movie from overseas markets is expected to be around Rs 4-4.5 crores and Indian box office collection Rs.10-12 Crore. Figures might be high or low depending upon the overall response till night.
