Gabbar Is Back Tenth Day Box Office Business
Akshay Kumar’s one-week-old movie, “Gabbar is Back”, has continued its run at the ticket counters in the second week. Its domestic collection has reached Rs 66.86 crore on its second Saturday. Having collected Rs 59.86 crore in the domestic market in its opening week, “Gabbar is Back” showed considerable amount of dip in its business on its second Friday. When compared to its opening day collection, the movie witnessed over 75% drop in its business on its eighth day in theatres. The biggest reason for the decline in its collection was that “Gabbar is Back” lost a huge chunk of its screen-count to new releases, “Piku” and “Kuch Kuch Locha Hai”, which became first choice for the movie-goers across India. Having become a second option, the Akshay Kumar starrer collected Rs 2.80 crore at the Indian box office on its second Friday, taking its eight-day total to Rs 62.66 crore net.
Gabbar Is Back 2nd Sunday Box Office Collection
“Gabbar Is Back” has collected Rs 4.50 crore at the Indian box office on its second Sunday. The tenth-day domestic total collection of the film stands at Rs 72.26 crore approx. The film would earn 100% of profit to Mangat in the coming days. It shows very clearly that this film is the first choice of the audience nowadays as they are neglecting the current releases like Piku along with Kuch Kuch Locha Hai which are quite helpless due to being affected by it. However, Gabbar Is Back as along with good second Friday and Saturday collections, the film earned wonderful income on second Sunday too. After “Baby”, “Gabbar Is Back” is the second movie of the year that earned decent amount at the box office. Interestingly, both the movies feature Akshay in the lead role.
