Bombay Velvet 4th Day Box Office Collection
Anurag Kashyap’s directorial film “Bombay Velvet” starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar has failed to draw audience in the opening weekend. Contrary to trade analysts and moviegoers’ expectations, the film has bombed at the box office in its debut weekend. The opening weekend box office collection of “Bombay Velvet” stands at Rs 16.10 crore. The film failed to show growth at ticket sales and the three days box office collection of the film are in the same range. According to reports, the film has incurred huge losses and has set a new benchmark. Boxofficeindia.com reported that the loss is close to Rs 100 crore as the production cost is more than Rs 120 crore. The trade website further reports that the film has broken the records of Abhishek Bachchan’s “Drona”, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s “Guzaarish” and other films in terms of huge losses to the producers.

On Holiday 3rd day the movie did able to do any miracle at the box office and done only 5.80 cr Business. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s Bombay Velvet 3 days total collection is really poor at the Box Office. Today being the fourth day of release movie has not done any impress business & managed to collect only Rs 2.10 crores nett and the total collection of the movie has now become 18.20 crores net. Talking about the response of audience towards the movie then we get to know that this time too Ranbir Kapoor failed to impress audience. Overall, the first weekday performance collection is just an average and reviews wise is mixed.
