Mr. X 5th Day Box Office Collection
Mr. X experienced the usual Monday drop on its fourth day. As per early estimates, the Emraan Hashmi starrer collected 2.50 crores approx on its first Monday and now stands with a total collection of Rs. 16.49 crores at the domestic box office. After having an average weekend, it was expected that the film would not remain steady over the week day. Mr. X has received mixed reviews from the critics. The film is performing its best in the North circuits such as Delhi, UP. Being meant for a family audience, the film was expected to perform better at the multiplexes but it has not. Overall the film’s music being popular and also since it is a 3D film with superhero undertones, it has managed to pull off decent collections so far.
Mr. X Tuesday Box Office Business
The Vikram Bhatt-directed film showed improvements on Sunday, but its growth was not upto the mark. On its third day, “Mr X” collected Rs.5.10 crore net at the Indian box office, taking its first weekend collection to Rs.13.99 crore net. With mixed audience response today, Tuesday has emerged out as no favor for this current Bollywood release. Talking about the collection of the film today, then Tuesday has been a normal income source & lesser than the past 4 days but not totally dull. Total Tuesday i.e. 5th day income of Mr.X is around 2.30 crores approx. The film has been a dud at the multiplexes as well as single screens and the mass belts are showing a dull performance. Bollywood will now look to upcoming film to end the current drought – Gabbar is Back (May 1, starring Akshay Kumar and Shruti Hassan).
