Mr. X First Weekend Box Office Business
As per early trends, “Mr X” showed big leap in the morning and afternoon shows on Sunday and its business is much better than its Friday and Saturday collections. Despite facing the heat of IPL cricket matches, the movie has performed very well at the ticket counters in first two days. It needs to be seen whether its evening shows will be affected by the IPL matches RR vs CSK and RCB vs MI. The film collected Rs 4.25 crores approx on its third day. The three day total for Mr. X is now Rs 13.14 crores at the domestic box office. The film scored well in Maharashtra and the North circuits too contributed well. Since the film’s music is also quite popular, it will benefit the film. Also Emraan Hashmi has a good fan following and considering that the film is for family audiences, Mr. X is expected to perform decently. With the summer vacations on, a lot of children are also expected to watch this invisible Mr.X.
