Fast & Furious 7 3rd Day Box Office Collection
Action thriller “Furious 7” has emerged as the highest opener of 2015, beating the opening day records of Bollywood movies released in 2015. Ranbir Kapoor’s “Roy” had recorded the highest opening day collection in 2015, but Vin Diesel and late Paul Walker starrer “Furious 7” has shattered the records of the Bollywood movie. While some trade expert say that “Furious 7” earned Rs.16 crore, trade website Koimoi.com reported that it collected Rs 12 crore on day one. “#FastFurious7 creates record opening on day 1 – Rs 16.5 Cr!” This, by any margin, is a huge number in India,” trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai tweeted. However, the first business of “Furious 7” is highest followed by Ranbir’s “Roy” which earned Rs 10.40 crore and Akshay Kumar’s “Baby” at third with Rs 9.3 crore earnings. The Hollywood movie directed by James Wan has also created a record with its second day earning. The second day box office collection at Indian box office is also the highest. According to Koimoi.com, “Furious 7” earned approximately Rs 11.75 crore on second day, i.e. on Good Friday.
Fast & Furious 7 Saturday Box Office Business
While “Baby” collected Rs 11.17 crore on second day, “Roy” earned Rs 11.16 crore. If “Furious 7” maintains its strong pace at the Indian box office, it’s opening weekend total would be the highest so far. Akshay’s “Baby” opening weekend total is so far the highest with Rs 36.07 crore income, but “Furious 7” is expected to beat that record. “It’s #FastAndFurious7 wave across the nation. The 4-day biz [Thu-Sun] should be the HIGHEST so far [2015 releases]. Setting new benchmarks,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. However, As per the estimate Furious 7‘s collections were quite good on its Day 3 i.e. 1st Saturday at the Box Office in India. The Hollywood flick opened with an earth shattering numbers on Day 1 i.e. on Thursday, but it dropped a bit as compared to its previous day due to the release of Dibakar Banerjee’s Detective Byomkesh Bakshy which too took a decent opening. Meanwhile the movie collected Rs.11 Crore approx on its 3rd day. “Furious 7”, which is also called as “Fast and Furious 7” is Paul Walker’s last movie. It also features Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez in pivotal roles.
