Detective Byomkesh Bakshy DBB 6th Day Box Office Collection
The business of Sushant Singh Rajput starrer crime drama crashed on first Monday at the domestic box office. The film, which performed well during its opening weekend, failed to maintain the momentum at the box office on Monday. The box office collection further declined on Tuesday and it fared in only Rs 1.57 crore. “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy Fri 4.20 cr, Sat 4.50 cr, Sun 5.36 cr, Mon 1.68 cr, Tue 1.57 cr. Total: Rs 17.31 cr”. The film, released in just 1240 screens, is currently facing competition from Vin Diesel and Paul Walker starrer “Furious 7” in India. As, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy‘s budget is estimated around Rs.22 Crores (approx), it won’t find difficult to recover it, though entering the Hit zone might be a difficult task for the film, as it is already facing a tough competition with Hollywood film Furious 7; moreover the upcoming week’s multiple releases will affect DBB’s screen count.
Detective Byomkesh Bakshy Wednesday Box Office Business
Detective Byomkesh Bakshy held up decently on its first weekend in spite of facing a stiff competition from Hollywood’s Fast and Furious 7. The Sushant Singh Rajput starrer failed to maintain its stride on Wednesday and thus with a considerable drop, it fetched Rs 1.34 crores nett on its sixth day. DBB now stands with a total collection of Rs 18.65 crores at the domestic box office. It is a very good film if we look from the acting point of view or entertainment level, but judging it on the basis of response then the film lacks somewhere due to non masala story and characters. But on the whole the film is a fully fledged packet of good story, nice acting skills, high suspense content and superb dramatization. For these good reasons audience is showing interest in the film in weekdays too up to a bit. Though slower and lesser but Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is making business on box office and soon it will pick up pace again with the coming weekend.
