Nivin Pauly and newcomer Manjima Mohan starrer “Oru Vadakkan Selfie” had a good weekend at the domestic box office, but the film failed to cross the Rs.5 crore mark. The G Prajith directorial film minted Rs.4.5 crore in first three days at the domestic box office. “Oru Vadakkan Selfie” had a slow start but the business of the film skyrocketed on Saturday and Sunday mainly due to positive reviews and strong word of mouth. On Friday“Oru Vadakkan Selfie” minted Rs.1 crore, on Saturday it raked in Rs.1.5 crore and on Sunday it earned Rs.2 crore. The fifth day box office income of the film was decent, considering the fact that Tuesday was the first working day of the week. Also, several other big budgets films have earned in the same range on the first Monday.
