NH10 2nd Week Box Office Collection
Anushka’s film has successfully completed its two weeks run at the box office and has entered its third week. The film had decent two weeks and third weekend collection from Indian market. The film, well received by the audience and critics alike, had an ‘A’ rated tag from the censor board that has certainly affected its overall collections. However, despite this, the business has been good. The makers of ‘NH 10’ have made an overall profit of approx. Rs.15 crores. The film is a good HIT now. Anushka Sharma – one of the youngest producers in the history of Indian cinema – has turned a decent profit with “NH10″ which was made with a budget of Rs 14 crore (production cost + marketing). While this sum of Rs.15 crores is by no way a small amount considering the ‘Adult’ rating it got.
NH10 Second Week Box Office Business
In its first week, the action drama minted Rs 20.60 crore. Though its collection dropped in the second week, it raked in Rs 7.75 crore. Since there were no releases in the week, the film minted Rs 2.25 crore from third weekend. “#NH10 Week 1 – Rs 20.60 cr, Week 2 – Rs 7.75 cr, Wknd 3 – Rs 2.25 cr. Total: Rs 30.60 cr. India biz,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted. The first quarter of the year remained low with only four movies earning more than production cost, including “NH10”. Trade analysts said that the low budget movies have performed well and has become the hit films of 2015. “‘PK’ was released last year and it did well in the beginning of this year, but it was a 2014 release. As far as this year’s hit films are concerned, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, ‘NH10’, ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Baby’ – these films have done well. However, it’s not an encouraging ratio at all,” Adarsh told IANS. Directed by Navdeep Singh, “NH 10” features Anushka, Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumaar in the lead roles.
