2.0 (2 Point 0) 3rd Day Collection, S.Shankar’s directorial Continues to Fire on Saturday

This Thursday released the science fiction action drama 2 Point 0 is setting immortal records at box office. The film took a thunderous opening at the box office and has grossed over Rs 100 crore worldwide on its opening day. The mega-budget film’s collection at the Indian and international box office is going steady and might see an increase during the weekend.

S.Shankar’s directorial 2 Point 0 was released on Thursday with enormous hype among fans as well as audience and as expected received rave response from them. Everyone found it very impressive and grand, which is a great experience to watch. From critics also the movie has received super positive reviews and gained strong word of mouth.

On the opening day, 2 Point 0 reported almost 80-90% of occupancy across the country and did the incredible business of 64 crores from 7000 screens, that included 20.25 crores of it’s Hindi version and 43.75 crores of Telugu and Tamil versions. The film earned 117.34 crore worldwide on its first day, which was the second highest ever for an Indian film after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017).

On the next day i.e. Friday, this highly awaited sequel to 2010’s Enthiran (Robot) remained super duper strong and collected 47.50 crores nett total. This included 18 crores of it’s Hindi versions and 29.50 crores of Telugu and Tamil versions domestically.

On Saturday with higher footfalls across the country, 2 Point 0 showed growth in it’s business graph and collected the amount of total 53.50 crores with 24 crores of Hindi and 29.50 crores of Telugu and Tamil versions.  With this trend, 3 days total collection of the movie has become 165 crores nationwide.

2.0 is Akshay Kumar’s first film with megastar Rajinikanth and is also his South Indian debut. Akshay, who is known for his roles in socio-drama films, is unrecognisable in this sci-fi movie as Pakshirajan. The makers of the film were reportedly postponing its release date due to the high-level VFX work used in it.
