Ace director S.Shankar’s highly awaited directorial 3D science fiction action drama 2.0 has been released on Thursday with enormous hype among fans as well as audience globally and as expected received overwhelmed response from them. Everyone got impressed with this magnum opus and showed big thumbs up to it.

As per them, the latest installment is more gripping and spectacular than the first part Enthiran aka Robot. With such super positive words, the movie has gained strong word of mouth.

On the opening day, this Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer opened on an earth shattering note, reported 80-90% of occupancy across the country for morning shows. Reportedly, it collected more than 20 crores with it’s advance booking only at domestic box office, which is a record in itself.

From evening shows, 2 Point 0 witnessed more footfalls and at the end registered highest ever opening of Indian cinema. 2.0 has made a whopping business of over 64 crores today, thus shattering all previous records attained by any Tollywood film. The film collected 20.25 crore in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil made 43.75 crores collection.

Since it has released on Thursday, the film will rake in a huge amount during its four day extended weekend. Rajini and Akki’s super stardom has helped the film to grab several eyeballs. The VFX techniques of the film are never seen before in the Indian cinema. It has literally raised a bar for other filmmakers.

Made on a hefty budget of 550 crores, 2.0 has also been shot in 3D, which is huge in itself. These records are not less than a miracle and quite difficult to break for any upcoming biggie. In overseas market to, 2 Point 0 has recorded phenomenal business and heading to become the highest grossing Indian movie of all time at domestic box office.
